Marc André Castonguay joined Louisbourg Investments in 2014 and serves as Senior Manager, Financial Planning. In this role, he supports the firm’s Private Wealth clients by helping them define and prioritize their short-, medium-, and long-term goals and develops customized financial plans to guide them toward those objectives. He also identifies strategies to enhance their overall financial well-being and manage risks that could derail their financial plan. Marc André works closely with portfolio managers to ensure each plan is effectively implemented and monitored.
Before joining Louisbourg Investments, Marc André spent 15 years in the financial services industry, gaining broad experience in investment and insurance advice, financial planning, advisor training, and product development.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the Université de Moncton. He earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2002 and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation in 2015. Marc André also served on FP Canada’s Conduct Review Panel for nine years.
