Benoit Mayer-Godin began his investment career in 1996. He has worked with major brokerage and asset management firms, including National Bank Financial and Fiera Capital. As a portfolio manager and strategist, Benoit served both institutional and individual clients. In 2011, he founded Alizé capital which offered discretionary portfolio management services to private wealth clients. Alizé Capital and Louisbourg Investment joined forces in 2024.
Over the years, he has developed solid skills in security selection and asset allocation, as well as in risk management and quantitative analysis. Both analytical and methodical, Mr. Mayer-Godin is sensitive to his clients’ needs and committed to providing them with outstanding service.
His investment philosophy combines economics, strategy, as well as fundamental and technical perspectives on securities. Benoit offers a proven approach, rigorous risk management and total commitment to his clients.
Benoit holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Finance (MSc) from HEC Montréal. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a Technical Analysis Charter (CMT).
