Mike Moores joined Louisbourg Investments in September 2019 as Client Relationship Manager based in Halifax NS. Mike’s responsibilities at Louisbourg include; business development and servicing of private clients and institutional clients, supporting and developing strategic relationships as well as working closely with our parent company Assumption Life in the support and development of their investment business.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (finance) from Saint Mary’s University, he is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and, holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Prior to joining Louisbourg Mike was VP of a large Atlantic Canadian advisory firm where he managed the pension business and financial planning practice.
In his spare time Mike is president of the Dartmouth Celtics Basketball Club in Dartmouth NS and has been a coach for 30 years. He is also a committee member with the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation annual golf classic.
